Years before I had the dream of being a psychologist, I was an elementary school teacher. I was living in Mexico when I first discovered yoga and acupuncture. I started to notice a profound difference, not just in my physical well-being, but also in how I approached the world and dealt with the struggles in my life. I often say that yoga and meditation saved my life!
However, in 2012 I found myself struggling and knew I needed to do something different. I was out of tools in my toolbox. Fortunately, I found an amazing therapist who supported me on my healing journey, and helped integrate my spirituality and view of holistic medicine into the work.
For more than a decade now, I have found much healing through listening to the mind-body-soul connections. As such, not only am I a Registered Provisional Psychologist, I am also a certified yoga instructor and a level 3 Reiki practitioner. I believe that we are continuously being asked to heal and evolve, and as such, my own growth includes regular acupunture and craniosacral treatments, as well as massage and Subconscious imprinting.
More recently, I have been delving back into my spiritual side in a variety of different ways. Significant joy and enrichment has come my way through exploring alternative forms of connection to self and spirit.
